Paulo Avelino defends Jake Cuenca after police chase incident

After Jake Cuenca was involved in an incident involving a police car chase on Saturday night, Paulo Avelino quickly defended him.

The actor asked people to use social media to clarify their facts before they posted comments about the topic online.

Paulo stated that he would flee the scene if civilians were photographing his vehicle.

Jake also denied that he was drunk when he hit a police car that night. After he had recovered from COVID-19, the 33-year old explained that his friend was visiting him.

According to the Philippine Star, Jake was taken into custody after his sport utility vehicle struck a police car in Mandaluyong on October 9th at about 9:59 p.m.

He was accused of reckless imprudence resulting in property damage.

A delivery rider was also reported to have been hit by a stray shot when Jake's SUV was being chased by police officers.
