Olivia Lamasan revealed that Hello, Love, Goodbye, the box-office smash, was originally written for LizQuen

Olivia Lamasan, head of ABS-CBN Films, revealed that Hello, Love, Goodbye, the country's most successful film, was originally intended for Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and others.

Toni Gonzaga spoke with the filmmaker about their selection process for leading roles in the 2019 film.

She shared the following: "LizQuen, then Kathryn DJ and Kathryn Alden."

Lamasan said that Liza was to play Darna in ABS-CBN's TV adaptation.

The actress quit the title role in 2018 after breaking her index finger.

Lamasan, one producer of Hello, Love, Goodbye, described their film after Milan and Anak as their OFW story. She also directed the film.

After earning a global gross of at least P880 millions, the film directed and top-billed in 2019 by Kathryn Bernardo Alden Richards was named the highest-earning Filipino film.
